Tour start: Umweltforum

Our first location is a good starting point for the BESONDEREN ORTE tour. We also like to call the Umweltforum “Die Große” (The Big One). The hall has a ceiling height of 17 m. 11 seminar rooms, areas for catering and exhibitions, and a terrace surrounded by greenery leave nothing to be desired. The mix of old and new—historic buildings and modern facilities—can be used flexibly. Mobile walls create new spaces and rooms for different event formats, from conferences and congresses to events and presentations.

Here you can also experience:

Tagungswerk Saal

Second stop: Tagungswerk

After a short bus ride, things get a little more modern. The Tagungswerk is “Die Praktische” and, as the name suggests, this functional building from the 1960s is optimally equipped for conferences.

It has a divisible hall with a state-of-the-art LED wall, five large seminar rooms, and airy catering areas with a view of the Lindenhof outside. Spacious, floor-to-ceiling windows visually connect the outdoor area with the foyer and make the rooms appear even more spacious and brighter. On top of that, it has a central location and is easily accessible, making it an ideal venue for events.

Highlights:

  • Live demonstration of the LED wall
  • Livestreams and hybrid events
Saal im Französischen Dom

Third stop: Französischer Dom event location

After another short bus ride, we arrive at Gendarmenmarkt. Under the roof of the Französischer Dom, there is a platform, a museum, a restaurant, and an event location.

Our “representative” venue offers 1,000 m² of event space spread across two connected buildings—the Französische Friedrichstadtkirche and the Französischer Dom. The location is the perfect venue for prestigious events, conferences, award ceremonies, or dinners. Rooms of various sizes are available for this purpose. Large groups opt for the Friedrichstadtkirche hall. Smaller groups choose the ballroom with balconies offering a view of the Gendarmenmarkt.

Extra: Französischer Dom viewing platform

For a change of pace, head up to the viewing platform of the Französischer Dom. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of central Berlin and experience the city's architecture and history from a new perspective. The platform offers panoramic views of the cityscape, including the Fernsehturm, Potsdamer Platz, and the Reichstag building.
