Urban climate and biodiversity
The newly landscaped area in front of Umweltforum provides a retreat and habitat for a large number of animal and plant species. Here, flower-visiting insects such as wild bees, butterflies and others find a wide range of food and places to retreat. Birds can breed and raise their young in the shrubs and bushes. Bees from the roof of Umweltforum also collect nectar here without having to move far from the hive.
